Just a lil update...

I'm on my break and this lovely freezing Thanksgiving Eve...my kids are acting loopy and need a few days, as do I! Just thought I'd update ya'll on things.

I FINALLY got the Apostille I've been needing for the past 2 months! I had to write a statement declaring my background check being true. I brought that and my letter of good conduct to the secretary of state and paid $40 to get a little stamp on them. That Susan Bysiewicz is a fast lady! I dropped the paper off yesterday morning and, do my disappointment, was told it would take 3-5 days. I just got a call at work that they're all set for me to pick up! Yay! This means I can send out all my visa documents to Korea and be done with them for a few weeks! :)

I got a call on Monday night from Lena at Park English. She asked if I would be willing to go to Korea in January again. I would love to go early, but there are things I wanted to do before I left. My mom is way too excited about planning this going away party for me and I HAVE to go to Florida to see Shaunali, Matthew, and Isaac before I'm gone for a year! I just emailed Lena and told her I could go any day after Jan. 18th...I hope that works for them!

Speaking of the going away party...it's January 17th at the Knights of Columbus in Windham from 6-11. Let me know if you can make it!
