Korean Hockey!

A parent of one of OG's students sponsers a Korean hockey team. I know what you're saying. Hockey? In Korea? Yup, apparently there's an entire Asian Hockey League with a whopping 7 teams! Anyway, this parent offered OG free tickets to a game, so you know we were there. Emily's old friend from high school is now teaching in the ROK. Her name is Colleen and she Canadian and totally into hockey, so she came along as well. We also enjoyed the company of some German guys that Emily had met the night before. One of them had broken his tooth and didn't remember how. They were quite interesting.
We hopped on a bus and headed to Anyang to see the Anyang Halla in action! Colleen had been to a couple games already and told us that the team was pretty good. Unfortunately, this wasn't their night. They got their butts kicked, but we still had a great time. Here they are in action.

And because we're in Korea, the players bow to the spectators at the end of the game.

Then we got to go down on the ice and meet the players. I believe I met the tallest Korean guy ever!

Love ya all!
